SAILING NATIONALS 2019 SUCCESSFULLY HELD AT CROW ISLAND SEA FRONT

Yachting association of Sri Lanka the National Sports body for Sailing Sport in Sri Lanka held Sailing Nationals 2019 on 28TH & 29TH December 2019 at Crow Island Sea Front on a grand success with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Navy & the Chief Guest was for the occasion Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Boats belonging to all the Sailing classes were represented at this event.

The GP14 Class, Laser Standard Class & Windsurfing Class were won by Sri Lanka Navy & the Enterprise Class won by Royal Colombo Yacht Club. Royal College Colombo won the Laser 4.7 Class (Under 19 event) & S.Thomas Mt Lavinia Won the Optimist Class (Under 15 event) & the Laser Radial Class.

All these events were successfully held as a result of our obtaining a suitable water front in Crow Island with the blessings of the Sri Lanka Navy
